So who is this guy? From waterproofing contractor to real estate developer, this self-starter from Long Island, New York is no stranger to innovation. After turning 50 in 2002, Dennis moved to St. Petersburg with a new venture in mind. “What is lacking in the entertainment business today?”

A no-nonsense, dominant personality may be a prerequisite for any successful entrepreneur. But such attributes are not commonly associated with gay Americans in mainstream media. Dennis intends to change that. What distinguishes Dennis from the myriad of TV talk show hosts is not merely that he’s a gay man, but that a television viewing audience will get to see a gay American who is, by nature, “the boss”. But as Dennis is quick to point out: “It’s not about me, it’s about Pioneer Productions, and Pioneer Productions is about changing public opinion.”

Though he may be a challenge to the stereotype, don’t let this “newfangled” gay man frighten you. Dennis’s inquisitive personality and genuine interest in people, gay and straight, will make him a most agreeable host. We promise.
